CBNA News Desk|| Restaurant BIS Creates Campaign to Feed Frontline Workers || Restaurant Bis is starting the BIS Foundation Covid-19 campaign to raise funds and provide hot meals to the frontline workers of Covid-19 in Montreal. BIS Foundation Covid-19 was started to help the frontline workers like nurses, doctors, paramedics and police officers. They state that every $50 covers the cost for four full meals delivered to these workers.
They have raised about $6,000.00 so far and had notably delivered 40 meals to the Jewish General Hospital frontline workers on Saturday May 16th. More recently, on May 22nd, they delivered 40 meals to frontline workers at Vigi Mont-Royal Senior’s residence which is highly affected by the pandemic. The gofundme fundraiser was created by Aldo Mazzaferro and has a target of $10,000 which can be found at https://www.gofundme.com/f/fondation-covid19-bis-foundation-covid19.
