গোয়াংজু খাদ্য মেলা ২০২২- এ বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, সিউল–এর অংশগ্রহণ
বাংলাদেশ দূতাবাস, সিউল গত ১৩-১৬ অক্টোবর ২০২২ তারিখে দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার গোয়াংজু শহরে অনুষ্ঠিত ‘গোয়াংজু খাদ্য মেলা-২০২২’-এ অংশগ্রহণ করে। উক্ত মেলায় বাংলাদেশে উৎপাদিত খাদ্য ও খাদ্য পণ্য প্রদর্শণ করা হয়। ‘গোয়াংজু খাদ্য মেলা ২০২২’-তে বাংলাদেশ ও দক্ষিণ কোরিয়াসহ মোট ০৯ টি দেশ অংশগ্রহণ করে এবং মোট ১১৫ টি বুথ (০৮ টি বিদেশী ও ১০৭ টি কোরিয়ান)-এর মাধ্যমে তাদের খাদ্য ও খাদ্য পণ্যসমূহ প্রদর্শণ করে।
দক্ষিণ কোরিয়ার ‘গোয়াংজু’ সিটির মেয়র জনাব ক্যাং গিজাং (Kang Gijung) ১৩ অক্টোবর ২০২২ তারিখ সকালে এ মেলার উদ্বোধন করেন। অতঃপর অন্যান্য অতিথিবৃন্দদের সাথে নিয়ে প্যাভিলিয়নসমূহ পরিদর্শন করেন। উল্লেখ্য, বাংলাদেশ প্যাভিলিয়নের আকর্ষণীয় দৃষ্টিনন্দন উপস্থাপনা দর্শনার্থীদের মধ্যে ব্যাপক আগ্রহের সৃষ্টি করে।
মেলায় উল্লেখযোগ্য সংখ্যক কোরিয়ান ও বিদেশী দর্শনার্থী বাংলাদেশ প্যাভিলিয়ন পরিদর্শন করেন এবং বাংলাদেশের খাদ্য, বিশেষতঃ কুকিজ, মসলা জাতীয় খাদ্য পণ্য, নুডুলস, পানীয়, তেল ও সস জাতীয় খাদ্য পণ্যের বিষয়ে গভীর আগ্রহ প্রকাশ করেন। চার দিনব্যাপী অনুষ্ঠিত এ মেলায় বাংলাদেশী বিভিন্ন প্রকারের খাদ্য সামগ্রী সম্পর্কে বিস্তারিত তথ্য দর্শনার্থীদের সামনে তুলে ধরা হয়। মেলায় বাংলাদেশের খাদ্য বিষয়ক লিফলেট, পোস্টার ও পরবর্তীতে যোগাযোগ সম্পর্কিত তথ্যাদি দর্শণার্থীদের মাঝে বিতরণ করা হয়।
এ মেলা কোরিয়ান ও অন্যান্য দেশের খাদ্য আমদানীকারীদের নিকট বাংলাদেশের খাদ্য বিষয়ক তথ্য তুলে ধরার অনন্য সুযোগ। ‘গোয়াংজু খাদ্য মেলা ২০২২’ তে বাংলাদেশের সফল অংশগ্রহণ ভবিষ্যতে বাংলাদেশ ও দক্ষিণ কোরিয়াসহ বিভিন্ন দেশের ব্যবসায়ীদের সাথে বাণিজ্যিক সম্পর্ক বৃদ্ধির ক্ষেত্রে সহায়ক হবে বলে আশা করা যাচ্ছে।

Bangladesh Embassy in Seoul participates in the Gwangju Food Fair-2022
The Embassy of Bangladesh in Seoul participated in the ‘Gwangju Food Fair-2022’, held in Gwangju, Republic of Korea from 13 to 16 October 2022. The Embassy displayed various kinds of Bangladeshi food and food products at this fair. This year organizations from 09 countries including Bangladesh and Korea participated in the fair and exhibited their food and food products through 115 booths (08 foreigners and 107 Koreans).
Mr. Kang Gijung, Mayor of Gwangju City inaugurated the fair on the morning of 13 October 2022 and visited the pavilions accompanied by other guests. The attractive presentation of the Bangladesh Pavilion was appreciated by the organizers and visitors and created considerable interest among them in Bangladeshi food.
A good number of Korean and foreign visitors visited the pavilion of the Embassy of Bangladesh and expressed their keen interest in Bangladeshi food products like cookies, spice food products, noodles, beverages, oil products and sauces food products. At the four-day-long fair, detailed information about different types of Bangladeshi food was presented to the visitors. Leaflets, posters and brochures on Bangladeshi food items were displayed and distributed to the visitors at the fair.
This fair was an ideal opportunity to promote Bangladeshi food to Korean and foreign importers from different countries. Bangladesh Embassy’s successful participation in this food fair is expected to enhance the bilateral trade between Bangladesh and Korea in the future.
