Commemorating U.S. President John F. Kennedy’s tragic death anniversary on 22nd November
With love and respect, I pay my glowing tribute to great, dynamic and visionary U.S. president John F. Kennedy today, the 22nd November when he was tragically assassinated by shocking not only the United States but the whole world. John F. Kennedy, the 35th president of the United States was tragically assassinated on 22nd November 1963. His sudden death shocked the whole world.
Jon F. Kennedy was born on 29 th May, 1917. At the age of 43, he was elected the youngest president in the history of the United States in 1960. On 20th January 1961, in his inaugural address as president of the United States John F. Kennedy said “……..My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you- ask what you can do for your country.” He also asked the nations of the world to join together to fight what he called ” the common enemies of mankind: tyranny, poverty, disease and war itself.” He was handsome, dynamic, honest, humanist, statesman and reformer. Majority of the Americans still think Kennedy was one of the greatest presidents of America. President Kennedy created Peace Corps in order to encourage young Americans to serve and offer support to Third World Countries. President Kennedy was inspired by the historic speech of black civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King titled ” I have a dream.” It was Kennedy who tried his level best to pass the Civil Rights Bill offering equal rights to Black people and colored people in America. As Kennedy was suddenly assassinated by Leo Harvey Oswald on Nov 22 1963, his proposed Civil Rights Bill was passed in 1964 under the then President Lyndon Johnson. John F. Kennedy also created the presidential commission on the status of women.
He also signed the Equal Pay Act of 1963 and Fair Labor Standard Act. The Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, Nuclear Test Ban Treaty, the establishment of Peace Corps, Civil Rights Movement, Trade Expansion Act to lower tariffs, expedition to the space and moon- all these dynamic and visionary decisions took place during the very short-term presidency of John F. Kennedy. Kennedy vehemently took decision against most of his advisors who were in favor of drastic pre-emptive air strikes on Cuba and the Soviet naval bases in the surrounding areas. By doing so he saved us and saved the whole world from the brink of a nuclear war with Soviet Union during Cuban Missile crisis in 1962. John F. Kennedy said” Mankind must put an end to war or war will put an end to mankind.” The then Soviet leader Nikita Kurschev also played an important role to diffuse the nuclear war during Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962.
Some great, visionary, humane and dynamic presidents of America were George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, President Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, John F. Kennedy etc.. Some unpredictable, war-mongering and radical presidents of America were Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, George W. Bush, Donald Trump etc.. who thought of divisions, arms race and America’s military might instead of America’s economic prosperity, equality, global peace and improving relationship with other countries. As Kennedy was on his way to make some reforms and changes for the better, so there was a big conspiracy to kill him. He became the innocent victim of this big conspiracy. The present President Donald Trump is inexperienced, radical, arrogant, fickle minded and unpredictable who still doesn’t want to concede defeat in the presidential election to Joe Biden. Though President Kennedy tragically passed away, but he will be remembered with respect and love by virtue of his great vision, world peace, humanity and outstanding ideals for mankind. Thank you very much
