The Course Saint-Laurent returns on April 16 for its 30th edition
Saint-Laurent, February 20, 2023 – The 30th edition of the Course Saint-Laurent will be held on Sunday, April 16. Sanctioned by the Fédération québécoise d’athlétisme, this event is organized by the Club d’athlétisme Saint-Laurent Sélect inc. in collaboration with Saint-Laurent and is in part of the Circuit endurance.
Runners of all ages are invited to run through the Bois-Franc and industrial sectors in one of the races being held, specifically 1, 2, 5 and 10 km. The organizing committee will award prizes to the winners of the last two events.
On this occasion, certain streets in the Bois-Franc sector will be closed. In case of emergency on race day, residents may refer to one of the volunteers on-site. Furthermore, parking will be prohibited on select streets from noon on Friday, April 14. Special signs will be erected.
Volunteers needed
Every year, the organization of this major sports event relies on the participation of many volunteers. Saint-Laurent residents wishing to get involved are asked to express their interest by sending an email to [email protected].
Défi corporatif
The business community is once again invited to participate in the race by entering teams in the Défi corporatif. The registration deadline is April 2, at the following address: [email protected].
Online preferential rate until April 13
Participants can register online until April 13 for a fee of $15 to $45, according to age and category on the following site: circuitendurance.ca. Participants can also register on race morning at the starting line or at the Municipal Workshop, located at 13001, boulevard Cavendish (accessible via Bus Route 171 West).
