Sports and Recreational Activities for One and All This Fall in Saint-Laurent

Saint-Laurent, September 10, 2021 – With the arrival of fall, Saint-Laurent is giving its residents the opportunity to take care of themselves by participating in a wide range of sports and recreational activities organized with them in mind.

Aquatic activities

Starting at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, September 19, children can be registered for the Red Cross pre-school and junior courses. Due to special measures related to the COVID-19 pandemic, all children will have to be accompanied by a parent in the pool for pre-school levels up to and including Junior 4. Adults have not been neglected either, as aquafitness classes will also be offered and registration will begin on September 19.

Open activities

Open activities to relax or get back in shape will be available as well, upon reservation: badminton, ping-pong and outdoor tennis.

Registration and reservations

Details on the swimming lessons and independent activities program may be found online on the Loisirs Montréal website at loisirs.montreal.ca, where residents may register at the same time. Due to the limited number of spaces available for aquatic activities, it is advisable to register for these activities online. Anyone requiring online registration assistance may call 514 855-6110, extension 5.

The receptionists on duty at the front desk of the Complexe sportif (8:30 a.m. – 8:30 p.m) and at the Centre des loisirs (8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.) will be happy to help residents Monday to Friday.

We wish to remind residents that the Carte biblio-loisirs (recreation card) required for registration will be issued to them free of charge at the Bibliothèque du Boisé, the Bibliothèque du Vieux-Saint-Laurent, the Centre des loisirs and the Complexe sportif.

In closing, it should be noted that many of the Arrondissement’s partner organizations specializing in sports and recreational activities still have spaces available for their activity programs. For information, check out the Loisirs Montréal website or contact the organizations directly:
