বঙ্গবন্ধু স্মরণে নাইজেরিয়ার শিল্পী গাইলেন বাংলা গান
সিবিএনএ নিউজ ডেস্ক/১৬ মার্চ ২০২১। জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমান স্মরণে নাইজেরিয়ার পেশাদার কন্ঠ শিল্পী মিসেস প্রিন্সেস বোলা ইজেজি (Mrs. Princess Bola Ezeji) গাইলেন বাংলা গান (যদি রাত পোহালে শোনা যেত বঙ্গবন্ধু মরে নাই…)।
জাতির পিতা বঙ্গবন্ধু শেখ মুজিবুর রহমানের জন্মশতবার্ষিকী উদযাপন উপলক্ষ্যে বছরব্যাপী গৃহীত কর্মসূচির অংশ হিসেবে নাইজেরিয়ায় বাংলাদেশ হাইকমিশন এ উদ্যোগ গ্রহণ করে। হাসান মতিউর রহমানের কথায় ও মলয় গাঙ্গুলির সুরে সাবিনা ইয়াসমিনের গাওয়া বিখ্যাত গানটি বিদেশি এ শিল্পীর সুললিত কন্ঠে এক বিশেষ দ্যোতনা তৈরি করে। এ গানের মধ্য দিয়ে দুদেশের জনগণের মধ্যে বিদ্যমান বন্ধুত্বপূর্ণ সম্পর্ককে ঘনিষ্ঠতর করবে বলে আশা করা যায় । গানের ভিডিওটি মিশনের ইউটিউব চ্যানেলে দেখতে পাওয়া যাবে (https://youtu.be/NuU7k0g-29E).
উল্লেখ্য, সম্প্রতি ‘মুজিব বর্ষ’ উপলক্ষ্যে নাইজেরিয়া পোস্টাল সার্ভিস(নাইপোস্ট) একটি স্মারক ডাক টিকেট প্রকাশ করে। উক্ত ডাক টিকেটটি বাংলাদেশের পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রী ড. এ.কে.আব্দুল মোমেন,এমপি, এবং নাইজেরিয়ার পররাষ্ট্র মন্ত্রী জেফ্রি ওনেয়ামা (H.E. Mr. Jeoffrey Onyeama) ২৭ আগস্ট ২০২০ ভার্চুয়াল মাধ্যমে যৌথভাবে অবমুক্ত করেন।
Nigerian artist performs music in Bangla as a tribute to Bangabandhu
Mrs. Princess Bola Ezeji, a Nigerian professional vocal artist, performed a Bangla song (If it could be heard when night was over that Bangabandhu had not died…/Jodi Raat Pohale Shona Jeto….) as a tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman (video clip attached). The High Commission of Bangladesh in Nigeria took the initiative as a part of the year-long programme to celebrate the birth centenary of Bangabandhu (Mujib Year). The famous Bangla song rendered by Sabina Yasmin which was composed by Hassan Motiur Rahman and tuned by Moloy Ganguli, found its beautiful expression through the melodious voice of a foreign singer. This is also expected to contribute in creating better bonding between the peoples of the two friendly countries. It may be mentioned here that earlier Nigerian Postal Service (NIPOST) released a Commemorative Postage Stamp to mark Mujib Year. H.E. Dr. A.K. Abdul Momen,MP, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh and H.E. Mr. Jeoffrey Onyeama, Foreign Minister of Nigeria jointly unveiled it on a digital platform on 27 August, 2020.
