 4th July is the Independence Day of the United States. This year 4th July 2021 United States of America (U. S.A.) is celebrating her 245th Independence Day with due solemnity, patriotism, pomp and grandeur. 4th July is also a national holiday in the United States commemorating the great Declaration of Independence from the monarch of Great Britain on 4th July 1776. The Continental Congress in The United States declared that the Thirteen American Colonies were no longer subject (and subordinate) to the monarch of Britain under King George the 3rd, and were now united, free, and independent states. The Congress had voted to declare independence two days earlier, on July 2, 1776 , but it was not declared until July 4 in 1776. American Independence Day is celebrated commonly with colorful road parades, fireworks, barbecue parties, picnics, patriotic concerts, family reunions and political speeches and ceremonies. America achieved her independence from the then powerful British Empire on 4th July, 1776. United States got her constitution on 21st June 1788.

United States has a population of more than 340 million people, making it the third most populous country on earth.  The United States contains a highly diverse population. The United States has a diversity of population that to a great degree has come from an immense and sustained global immigration. Probably no other country has a wider range of racial, ethnic, and cultural types than does the United States. The capital of the U.S.A. is Washington D.C. and the largest city in the US is New York City. The United States is a country of 50 states covering a vast swath of North America, with Alaska in the northwest and Hawaii extending the nation’s presence from Atlantic Ocean in the east into the Pacific Ocean.  Its Area is 9.8 million square kilometers or 3,796, 742 Square miles making it the 3rd largest country on earth. United states was hard hit by COVID-19 pandemic due to reckless and unpredictable former U.S. president Donald Trump’s bad policies. More than  six hundred thousand people died by COVID-19 pandemic in the U.S.A.

The United States is the world’s greatest economic power, measured in terms of Gross Domestic Product (GDP). The nation’s wealth is partly a reflection of its rich natural resources and its enormous agricultural output, but it owes more to the country’s highly developed industry. Despite its relative economic self-sufficiency in many areas, the United States is the most important single factor in world trade by virtue of the sheer size of its economy. United States is one of the most developed nations on earth. The economy of the United States is highly developed, mixed and productive. It is the world’s largest economy by nominal GDP and net wealth and the second-largest economy by purchasing power parity (PPP). Its GDP is 21.428 Trillion Dollars (2019). Its per capital annual income is $ 64,767 Dollars.  The U.S. has the most technologically powerful economy in the world and its firms are at or near the forefront in technological advances, especially in computers, pharmaceuticals, and medical, aerospace and military equipment and technology. The U.S. Dollar is the currency most used in international transactions and is the world’s foremost reserve currency, backed by its economy, its military, the petrodollar system and its linked Eurodollar and large U.S. treasuries markets.   The United States is a founding member of the United Nations Organizations (U.N.O.), World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Organization of American States (OAS), NATO, APEC, G7, G20 and other international organizations. On the other hand, U.S.A. is the most powerful nation on earth from the standpoint of her military might and the most influence peddling country on earth. United States has many friends and at the same time it has some enemies too in the global stage. George Washington was the first president of the United States. Abraham Lincoln was the 16th president of the United States. Franklin Delano Roosevelt was the 32nd president of the United States.  Joe Biden is the present and 46th president of the United States who took oath as the 46th president of the United States on 20th January 2021 .  Happy Independence Day to all our American friends and family members.
